  • Manning weakest arm in the league?

According to this guy he does..."everything flutters over 15 yards"....I think he's hit more deep balls this year so far than all of last year and on the money.

Is Andrew Luck already a top-five quarterback? Gregg Rosenthal breaks down Luck's emergence versus the rest of the young quarterbacks, and he ranks the rest of the top 10.

Lol not even close. Manning can straightline 40 yard lasers very easily, he seems to like to leave some air under the ball though which makes sense with Decker and DT both being larger receivers.

I don't care how far or hard Peyton throws the pigskin.......he is easily the #1 QB in all of football this year.

Maybe he does...who knows and who cares!?!? You know who probably had the strongest arm when he wss in the NFL? Jamarcus I'm a bust Russell had a great arm...how good of a QB was he?

I'll take Manning and his perceived noodle over just about any QB no questions asked!

        Thx,
        Joe

Peyton Manning is Exhibit A for why accuracy and decision-making will always be way more important than arm strength.

Arm strength may be an overrated factor, but Peyton still has a very strong one. Look at his long throw to Decker.

Look at that and tell me his arm is weak. Even had a tight spiral.

That's not exactly a great example. Pretty sure even you can throw a tight spiral for 43 yards.

Alex Smith and Sam Bradford both have weaker arms imo

He obviously has more zip this year than last. Some media heads just have to try and bring him down any way they can even if it means basically talking crap.

Peyton's passes have always "fluttered". Thoughout his carreer he doesn't throw those perfect spirals. Its just the way he is. Peyton is not the best long baller, but he can hang with 90% of them out there. The long ball is not what makes him great. What makes him great is the ability to totally pick out a defense and make adjustments.

A Qb's arm strength is not as important as some people make it out to be, just ask the
Raiders now that Jarmacus Russell is gone.

Cutler has a stronger arm than Elway. How did that work out?

Why do people think arm strength is the only component to be a quarterback....Manning have never had the arm strength, but his accuracy and decision making is ridiculous...
                            I support Kaepernick 100%

I'd put a 1,000 down that neither you nor him could throw that tight of a spiral 43 yards downfield.

Let alone in a busy pocket and perfectly placed over the shoulder so the defender had no play on it.
