Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I thought he was a pretty good pick with potential as a deep threat and future slot receiver. The roster has some junk (Bolden, Jammer, Lenon) occupying space so I was surprised to see the Broncos giving up on King so early.

That is exactly how I feel. I would rather any of them be gone and he still be here. I can understand Lenon for LB depth, but we have depth in the 2ndary and I have not been impressed with jammer or bolden not too mention Jammer atleast probably isnt here next year where as I felt like King could be in the long term future given time to develope. I know I don't know more than our FO but this one just bugs me.

Dumb to have Jammer/Lenon on the roster over King who at least has some potential.
Good luck to him.
While I agree with keeping the younger potential over aging veteran depth, I can understand why we let him go. Obviously with Woodyard out we needed Lenon to help at linebacker. Also our secondary has been pretty banged up with Bailey, Harris, and Ihenacho all missing time, so I dont blame them for wanting some versatile depth there with Jammer.
Still, sad to see King go. I liked his potential coming out and thought he would be insurance/leverage in case Decker reaches free agency. Im just glad he didn't go to a team like the Patriots, Ravens, or Colts.
Plus keep in mind that Caldwell has played exceptionally well on special teams and when his number has been called on offense. Tough to justify keeping a 6th receiver who would likely have been inactive for the duration of the season.

Someone posted on another thread that if we released jammer it would cost us 5 million in cap space due to vet status?Lenon and bolden hmm.Why is lenon getting more snaps than irving.to me Lenon is useless.

Caldwell is a FA after this year, and King could of replaced him.
While he would of been an inactive on gamedays, isnt Jammer, what different is there?
Jammer barring injuries will be lucky to see the field, stupid to let King go.
it was interesting, fox was kinda like 'oh well' when the reporter told him king was gone. like, no biggie. maybe he is protecting the front office, maybe he was caught off guard, maybe king was a huge mistake and denver knows something others don't. who knows.
