ive been a little confused why everyone keeps saying this was such a big game and peyton struggles in these big games. It was a regular season game against his old team. Its less important than our division games....

they're right, Peyton had a horrific game a left tackle, he took a bad penalty against Andrew Luck after the play to extend a Colts drive, and he dropped the Football again on the goaline...

I am not saying Peyton didn't hit a rough spot, but he did lead the Team to 33, and with a decent Defense that alone should win an NFL game...

But ok, yeah, he choked in the big game again...
A super bowl victory is the only thing that matters in a season. So to show improvement you have to get closer than we were last year. So the AFCC game is a good answer if we only match what we did last year it is a failure. The Giants were 9-7 and won it all so record or first round bye mean nothing unless you win it all-

#87Birdman wrote it- adding Manning, the Broncos should be held to it, and certain posters think otherwise and we know who you are.....

ITs true so far this year. Not saying its all mannings fault, but our 2 worst games have been when the lights are the brightest (Dallas and Indy).

well you are basically saying we struggled against good teams...that shouldnt really be a shocker that good teams are harder than the bad ones. Also he put up 51 and 33 points in both games, we werent exactly having offensive struggles in the dallas game. Against indy we played poorly much of the game but 33 points is still pretty good.

That's the Media for you. They build you up just to tear you down.

That's why after a loss I stay away from watching espn, nfl net etc....for that week

No doubt, Our offensive output in both games was sufficient, obviously in the indy game the O sputtered in terms of turning it over a lot. During the Dallas game the D struggled.

ehhh let them. i actually prefer when the media doubts the team or better yet, if we are under the radar (which will probably never happen with PFM at the helm). though i will admit im just like 58_VONDOOM_92 and try to avoid sports analysis for the entire week after the loss.

i've really hated the media circus ever since the year the colts when to the SB against the saints. the entire season was a frenzy with the colts almost undefeated season. and then the huge build up of peyton going up against his home town, and how badly new orleans needed this SB, blah blah blah. the colts losing was the cherry on top. not saying that is why colts lost the SB, but the whole fiasco was just annoying and i cant help but associate it with the big loss.

Don't understand why people are upset with the media, when everything they said was true..

Our pass defense is horrible,I've been saying this since the beginning of the year and all I got was "We're winning,so it doesn't matter"...

We have a coach that don't like to run the ball, especially when the opposing team have trouble stopping it...

We've been having turnover issues since last season....I don't know why we do,but we do...

While,I have my issues with the media, everything Eric Allen said was true, don't understand why everybody is upset about it...

With that said,I wish the media would take into consideration that teams have to throw the ball to catch up,that why we give up so many yards on offense(granted the game was close in Dallas and Indy)...I don't understand why they never mentions it...

The only person who does is,ironically is Skip Bayless....
                  I support Kaepernick 100%

I'm not upset with the media i was just making a point on how they like to crown teams weekly, then tear that team down when it's convenient. Also we have Quarterback who doesn't like to run the football, Fox ran the ball plenty in Carolina & when Tebow was here. Peyton has changed his coaching style because of who Peyton is & our personal.

Maybe our worst game was when the lights were lowest against the jags.

It is ESPN and they are clueless. Their Power Rankings this week have the Chiefs at the top. They are incapable of rational thought. The Chiefs cannot beat the other top-5 teams-- yet they have them there because they are undefeated because they got a loser's schedule from going 2-14 last year and have only played only one quality opponent. They list Indy at #2 yet they have beaten SF, SEA and DEN. I would not recommend getting your sports news from ESPN.

Could truthfully care less what the media thinks tbh.

The media sides with the flavor of the week, that's their thing.
I however have issues with Vickerson's temper, and the 3 penalties he created that lost us 45 yards. He's a beast, but he has to learn to control that temper.
Hillman.....another fumble close to the goal line, that's another problem.
When these guys are playing well we're awesome, when theyre not, we got issues.
I also believe this was a tough game for Peyton, normally he is able to keep his head in the game. Call me crazy but I thing Irsay and the tribute got in his head, and he wasn't playing "his" game.

The pass defense was fine in Indianapolis. In fact, Luck only had about 30 yards in the second half, and 228 total. On 38 attempts? Hardly a poor showing by the pass defense. Were it not for a weird end-around by Heyward-Bey, they didn't have much of a ground game either.

The Colts didn't score 39 points because of their offense. They scored 39 points because of Denver turnovers in their own territory. The Broncos defense forced 9 punts, and got off the field on 3rd downs more efficiently than the Colts did.

"A coach that doesn't like to run the ball..."

Really? They've averaged 30-35 attempts per game. Against the Colts, they only ran it 20 times because they got behind big and were only getting 3.2 yards per carry.
