Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

It's "legit", but you need to note that this is for the Professional Football Writers' Association of America MVP award, NOT for the Associated Press MVP Award, which is the one that is usually meant when people talk about the "NFL MVP" award. The AP MVP has not been announced yet.
We can't give too much weight to the PFWAA MVP, because they never gave this award to John Elway (which automatically calls their credibility into question). In 1987, when Elway won the AP MVP award, the PFWAA gave theirs instead to Jerry Rice. The only other Bronco named as MVP by the PFWAA was Terrell Davis in 1998.
Charles had more help than McCoy did. It should go to McCoy
Really? I disagree. I think Foles/Jackson/Cooper is a better passing game combo than Smith/Bowe/Avery. The Chiefs also had a number of injuries along their offensive line, and had to shuffle in backups and switch starters' positions (similar to what the Broncos had to do this year). I don't see where the Chiefs gave Charles "more help" than McCoy had in Philly.
He should have won it last year as well!! Congrats Peyton if it rings true!

Alex Smith and Dwayne Bowe are pretty solid, Avery has always been a threat (when he holds onto the ball), and KC's DEF helped out their O. Coming into the year Cooper and Foles were not household names & PHI's D was atrocious
