Why Knowshon Moreno Is the Hottest Running Back on Free-Agent Market

Moreno has totally changed my mind. Yeah, it's only been one season... but I feel that he excels with Manning as his quarterback (heck who doesn't??)

He's matured and has developed into the perfect RB for THIS offense.

Honestly I would say this season is a continuation of last season. Knowshon got demoted and spent half of the season getting better on scout team, and when his number was called we gained the Knowshon we know today. His season was anticlimactic when he got hurt against the Ravens, which puts his phenomenal comeback on the backburner somewhat, but he showed true grit in 2012.

I want him to stay, but if nothing else, I think he deserves a decent contract for what he is done to improve himself as a player and teammate, as well as for his overall production and vital support of the pass game.

I would have to agree. Depending on our cap situation and his current age/injury history (he's not that old but getting there), I think the Broncos may let him go. I still feel he signs a good deal for both sides and comes back though.

I herd we had a 5 mil option on Moreno. If PM stays I see us picking up that option.

Moreno has earned a multi year contract though imo...probably will not happen with us tho.

He is a bad multi-year investment at this point of his career but I am sure someone would do it. Know that is going to make some people mad who been waiting every year for him to have a breakout year and this year he finally did but it is true.

I would hate to lose Moreno. He was so pivotal to our team and PM trusts him implicitly. I don't think he leaves as I'm sure PM will do what he can to convince Elway to keep him.

I never worried about him fumbling either. Sure-handed and consistent. So proud of him. Love me some KnoMo.

I think if Manning stays (and I think he will regardless), Decker will want to stay. Especially when he considers Thomas his brother. Not every player will demand the big bucks. He may, but I think he will take a decent offer to stay in Denver with the chance of winning a second SB.

Moreno...I haven't been too quiet about my opinion on him. I think he was decent at best. He is perfect for Denver's type of offense where they don't run it a lot and have a massive passing attack and can receive the ball through the air. That's it. He hasn't thrived at all until this season...his big contract year. He won't thrive (and I wouldn't even consider this year as thriving) on a team that relies on a ground-and-pound offense.

What the writer got wrong is that he is not fast. He doesn't break the long gains. He had maybe one or two this season?

If I was going to make a play for a RB, it would be for McFadden. He's fast and I think we would take a good gamble on a guy who *could* really thrive in Denver's offense and turn into an Adrian Peterson type player with teams playing the pass and not stacking the box. I think we could use a big, strong and fast RB.

I might be wrong but i thought he was a restricted free agent?ir we had an option to bring him back? I would not be surprised at all if we franchised him..... I would franchise him before decker.... We can find another wr that manning can turn I to a stud. I really think decker is the one we should be worried about losing do to big contract. To me Moreno brings more to the table.

I think this is true that we will loose him in free agency. He will be too expensive. Ball, Hillman, CJ and one more prospect can take the reigns.
We will be fine.
And, for you Hillman haters....he will come back...trust me!

We need to resign him weeks after we win the SB. Marshan in great, Knowshon has a greater heart.
