It is amazing how Elway is working so well with the team. He is rebuilding it just as much as McD and Xanders did but he is making allot of right moves where it seems the previous group made as many wrong moves as possible. I mean even a blind kid will hit the dart board once in a while.

It does seem that a plan is in place and with a team that was long over do for some continuity..I think the overall talent level of the roster has raising enormously from a few years ago ... I think it will be exciting to see how team continually gets put together this offseason ..

Not sure what surprised me more

The amount of draft picks left from Shanahan Era or MCD era

I know McD only had a couple years drafting but also remember how many picks he had...how many he traded away for Tebow, NE castoffs and other non-sense. Imagine having Earl Thomas instead of Alphonso Smith. What did we trade for the DL who did nothing? For the RB who was washed up but getting time over Peyton Hillis. What did we give up three draft picks for Tebow iirc?

2009 we had 2 1st rounders, 3 2nd rounders, 2 4th rounders, 5th , 6th and a 7th and only three players left on the team. I do not think there has ever been failure like that in the history of the NFL. Actually if we do not keep Moreno and Ayers that leaves only 1 player left on the team.
