Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Umm is that not fox and company job to make sure their time executes ALL the points you make above?
How do they force them to execute.
They prepare them to play give then a game plan and if they fubar the plays does the coaching staff pull the starters and put in scrubs.
Do they take them to the end of the bench and beat them up?
Players execute or they do not. Hey maybe they cut loose a bunch of players after the season because of their play.
During the game they can make some adjustments to scheme. But if the players do not have the balls to gut it out short of shooting them not much they can do.
It was obvious from the first snap our players had been reading press releases instead of being mentally ready to play.
His defense played pretty good most of the game
The ST played like crap and most of the Offense was intimidated by the hawks defense. The only receiver that played tough was DT and only after the first quarter.
Decker is gone because he played like a wuss wanting calls for PI that he was never going to get.
Manning was pinned in all game except perhaps two drives and on one of the butter fingers DT dropped a ball that turned into 6
Points for them.
I did not see any if the coaches and specifically fox out there NOT making plays it was the players.
I think the SB LOSS is on Fox for not keeping the TEAM mentally focused!! From the first play of the game showed WE WERE NOT PREPARED. then it got worse... as this TEAM did not have there heads / heart in the game to beat the SEACHICHENS.
AND I pray for the next three years of Fox's extension to go by quickly, we need a coach with fire, and I hope this will be Peyton's last year, I too would like a QB with scrambling abilities for when the jail break happens, like we seen in the SB every time we were on O.
Just a pathetic loss all the way around in that God awful game.

True. The scrambling helps when the OL fails. Against the #1 D, there will be enough points of failure for the OL. Either take the sack or scramble and find an open guy. Just my opinion, of course.
However, when the Broncos' O goes against the Giants NASCAR package, they trot out 2 TEs and run that smaller DL to the ground with Wes Welker playing a cameo role as 3rd wideout. They didn't do so vs the Seahawks when the same scenario repeated itself.
They weren't prepared and weren't composed enough to gather themselves, IMO, from the coaches to players. Its like when Flacco completed that Hail Mary, they couldn't return the punch in the gut by gathering themselves quickly and decisively, so they decide to fold and not show fight (in the Ravens' game case, go to OT without swinging).
the real issue is our OL should not have failed like it did 4DL on 5OL should be advantage OL all day.
Things just don't add up. Broncos were not as bad as the result made them out to be. Seahawks are not as good as the result made them out to be.
That might just as well be true, but it doesn't change anything. On that day we didn't almost win, we lost resoundingly.
If 35 motivates the team, then I say wear it. Better to go in to next season already used to the sting of shame than allow the other team use it to beat you with it mentally. Make it an advantage!
But Peyton will dissect a defense and throw more accurately than any of those guys. The scrambling doesn't beat the Seahawks. If Manning had literally 0.4 more seconds per play (thanks Franklin), a lot of his throws would have been to guys he saw open, the two picks don't happen (as he doesn't get bumped or his arm chopped), and who knows how the pace changes.
