Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I wonder why Fox singled out Manning and DT? I know Manning lost a few fumbles last season, I'd hardly say it was an epidemic for him though. A lot of lost fumbles were due to poor blocking. I wonder what kind of football Hillman has to carry? Probably one covered in butter or hair gel. That guy terrifies me carrying the ball.
Because this: ""We started with two of our better players in Demaryius and Peyton. What better guys to start with?"
If you start something and you go from top (DT and PM) to bottom, you know that everybody else knows that they had better tow the line - if Peyton and DT are doing it, there's no way you're going to get out of doing it. Those two are leaders, so they're just setting a good example.

They set records in points, touchdowns and passing yards.
And the Broncos also led the NFL last season with 16 fumbles.
And so, during their first offseason practice of 2014 on Wednesday, the Broncos didn't revel in their accomplishments but addressed their primary flaw.
Throughout the Broncos' organized team activities (OTA) practice Wednesday, quarterback Peyton Manning and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas carried around a football wrapped in green, scout-team helmet beanies.
"We're making an emphasis from Day One on ball security," Broncos coach John Fox said. "We started with two of our better players in Demaryius and Peyton. What better guys to start with?"
