just saw a rerun of manning on Dave's late night show.

His comment was he was having to much fun to retire and now it is more mental than physical.
That he would at till he can't anymore or it was no longer fun.

So he may go when Welker does but I'll bet he plays several more years.

Why John has not been named exec of the year is beyond me.

He has drafted well for the future, has brought in UFA to plug some hole on a look see basis.

Vasquez deal was to 2 mil with little downside to cut him. He played pro bowl level and earned the 6+ he is making this coming year.

He has signed Ward to a reasonable contract same with Talib.

They are building for the future with talented vets and allowing the rookies to not have to play day one.

We all know that loads of rookies are thrown to the wolves and many never play to their potential. Or wind up in another city because their fans turn on them.

Moreno is fine example of that. A good player just not good enough for the position he was picked at. No doubt he will have a fine career somewhere else.

I agree, and Elway is most likely going to try and shed money to increase the cap space so that the broncos can make good offers to DT and JT

2.) I also think this will be mannings last year no matter what. I don't have any solid facts to back this up but rather a guy feeling. If manning does retire it completely changes the type of players the broncos would keep, since they would not longer be all in on one season but rather focused on building a playoff team for the next 10+ years.

When I personally say concussion issues it is because he suffered two so close together. To me that is worse than just having "just 2"

The odds say Welker would probably only look to play one last season in 2015, which is easily done. The question is his health and the concussion issue.

It will be up to Wes. Does he want to play in 2015? If he does, I don't think it will be much of an issue to sign him to a one year deal to have him play out his final season with Peyton, who is probably also done after 2015.

Apparently Sanders and Manning are doing some interesting things many of the from the slot.

Sanders apparently is almost unstoppable getting off the LOS..
But then it is the OTAs where little if any contact is made.

Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker will miss Denver's matchup with the Houston Texans on Sunday. Welker has suffered two concussions this season.

It sure appears to be that way. Welker getting all these concussions and getting older he might just decide to retire after this season.

He has the head injuries and is getting older. I think this is his last year with us and would not be surprised if he retires after this year, especially if he gets hurt again
