  • DeMarcus Ware: I feel stronger and faster than I have the last two seasons

    Article from PFT: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...t-two-seasons/

It sounds very positive! Then you read the comments. A lot of people there seem anti-Denver...even a lot of Cowboys fans who say he is washed up and it was time to go as he was unproductive for 3 years.

Will we regret turning our backs on Jared Allen and signing Ware instead? From what I see, he was probably the better player.

Ware had just been put in at DE recently when he played OLB most of his career. Add in the injuries and that Dallas had no other good pass rusher. We have Von and Malik Jackson. Ware should be fine.

I have heard several other cowboy fans say the opposite that they are upset that Jerry didn't make an offer to keep him there. Time will tell, but I'm hoping that Ware is going all Wrecking Ball on opposing teams.

          Lol love it!
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

The article said he expects to be standing up a lot more this year. It kind of sounds like there will be a lot of 3-4 looks on passing downs. Maybe not, but it would certainly make sense to put him in the best position possible to give him a chance to rush the quarterback effectively.

He's only missed 3 games in his career, I think a lot of people are overly concerned about his health.

We run a lot of 3-4 looks and our players on defense are more suited for a 3-4 scheme, tbh.

yeah to have him, Miller and Q. Smith on at the same time? :o Not that will happen, but it would be dangerous!

The comments on the thread are comical.

Like the ones that talk about him never getting sacks in the 4th quarter. I looked it up and the guy has 34.5 sacks in the 4th quarter alone. So that means that 40% of his sacks come in the 4th quarter..

That's crazy especially when you think teams will really be focusing on him (double teams) during that quarter.

Yeah he is a ghost late in games.... Cowboys fans are about as smart as their owner, that's a match made in heaven IMO.

Between Demarcus ware, aqib talib and peyton manning (lost all arm strength), the broncos may now have the most washed up players in the nfl.

Does this guy even watch the NFL?

LOL, for a guy who "lost all arm strength" he did pretty good throwing SEVEN TD's against the ratbirds. God, I cant stand uneducated football fans.

From everything I have read on various sites it seems to me Ware fits better with what JDR has been doing.

I think it was NFL.com that showed some pictures of Miller+Phillips and showed how Ware would fit right into JDR's defense last year with great detail.

The hybrid defense we use seems to work better with a guy who has played 3-4 OLB and I think that is why we dropped everything to pursue Ware. He played both DE and OLB as a very high level and that will fit VERY well in JDR's defense.
