True but beating 2nd and 3rds aren't really a sign of an elite rusher too. I would rather trust the Broncos than fans, because Broncos see them against the same defense everyday, where as we only see them against 2nd and 3rds of other teams.

One or two fumbles, and all those "Practice" carries combined go right out the window. If Hillman isn't on the bubble, he should be. AND, he will be when a Defense whose only job is to rip that ball out of his arms, is successful. Hillman now has a reputation, deserved or not, and every Defense in the NFL knows it.
Knowshon had a reputation as a bust before he showed what he could do.
After watching him this year he needs to stop dancing and hit the hole.

Those six carries just confirmed what he has shown over the past two seasons to me.

What role does he fill? He does not seem to have the power or size to be an every down RB. He has not been consistently explosive or elusive to be a change of pace RB. What makes him stand out in your opinion?

I was disappointed he did not show a bit more. The "rave reviews" from training camp and Ball being out gave him an opportunity to prove himself. He didn't. He looked very average.

He is on the bubble IMO. Going to be interesting to see if the Broncos keep him.

Yes we can. That is how Anderson made the team last year. That is how we want to see more of Thompson and Bibbs and less Hillman. Thompson and Bibbs used their opportunities to impress. Hillman had 2-years to unimpress.

IMO Hillman looked ok at best. I think that it is safe to say that he just isnt fast. All the hype about his elite lvl speed is just that hype. The man runs in slow motion. But at least he didnt fumble. But again to me that shows how below avg that he is....All we care about is him holding onto the ball. If he does that he had a good game....Never mind that he carried 6 times for 15 yards.....

Hillman looked stronger and was making sure to hold on to the ball. Both good signs.

Bibbs looked decent but he didn't do himself any justice by fumbling into the endzone, I do believe Hillman will remain the #2 back as long as he doesn't fumble away his opportunity. Ball is going to dominate the carries and Hillman and Anderson will spit the rest when he needs a breather. Thompson will make the #4 RB due to the TC buzz and how he has looked in the game so far also with his ability to play fullback and special teams. I believe Bibbs will make the PS unless Hillman is cut due to fumbles.

As much as liked Q I believe that is the best description I've heard yet.

I do have to say IF he was untouched he was getting 5+ yards a wack.

So far hillman shown me little that he has done on his own. Except cough up the ball.

He consistently got tackled too easily and there was a noticeable difference as none of the other RB's seemed to be as easy to bring down. Overall, I thought Bibbs had a better night and therefore Bibbs will see more time and that could be doom for Hillman as he is easily now behind Thompson and Anderson.
If you go back and look at that TD run the entire middle if the OL was inside the end zone. There's no way he could have gotten in.

You win and lose at the LOS. Just maybe if everyone stays healthy we will have a good running game. Up the gut.

Now running right not sure that Clark has the heft to block like franklin did.
