Probably you could do a poll on this or and over under.

The question is not IF he does it is when he does.

Looks like we have several options as UDFA a so not all is lost.

Juwan Thompson and Kapri Bibbs were impressive against second and third team defenses. A valid comparison would be to start them against veteran first team defenses in the upcoming preseason games. :2cents:
To be fair Seattle 2nds could be starters on some teams in the NFL. in a lot cases they were running with our 2-3s.

About the only consistent OL guy we had last night on 2-3 from a quick look see was Garlend.

Justice has zero reason to be a OLT and painter got scorched several time at ORT.

Montgomery was spending a lot of time back in the pocket on pass plays had manning been back there there would have been sure sacks.

I do admit on that one good scramble by OZ gramand let that fourth round pick of the hawks do a great swim move. But other than that he appeared to do a good job.

When they ran right they had good success or even straight ahead but to left that stunk that was mostly on justice whiffing on most of his blocks.

Anyway looks like at least two of those UDFA may be taking Hillmans spot at #3 and one to PS.

Will be interesting to see them run with the ones in the second quarter the next game.

As they seem to have made better decisions when running the ball. Had there not been some "fanthom" Flags last night who knows what we would have accomplished.

But for anyone thinking the next games with them will be a easy is kidding themselves considering the number of players that did. It play.

This happens in professional sports more then you think, especially in the NBA. Im sure your aware of the term, "A.M. Shooter". Kid shoot lights out at practice but when game time comes he can shoot better then 20%.

    Its exactly what Hillman is.

When the lights come on the sphincter tightens and he chokes due to lack of preparation and or a mental block knowing he cant compete. I love Ronnies drive but it takes more then that to be successful.

Im very worried about the broncos depth at running back. I do believe Ball is going to have a huge year. 1200+ if healthy. After that, who is going to step up? Its a long run to February, 16 games and playoffs. I would feel more confident knowing we have another proven back ready to come outta the stable if needed and that backs not going to be Hillman.

I just don't see this with Hillman. I saw a guy that was hit on the shoulder pad and went down. He does look bigger, I think he's trying to play bigger but to me he still looks like a guy that can get pushed around. He got the goal line TD but I don't he did much to get there.

I think he will make the team but #2 is still undecided. Thompson and Bibbs both looked good in their reps and very well might see more reps with the 1s and 2s. CJ may not even play for a week or 2 and if so those 2 guys will definitely get more reps and 1 of them could beat out Hillman.

    Ronnie broke Faulks school records

You don't do that not knowing how to put work in.

Freshman in high school can use the excuse of being behind in the weight room. SDSU has a great program and staff keeping an eye on their investments. Their football program is all about progressing to the next level, the NFL

Sub par college? You mean the one that produced Fred Dryer, Herm Edwards, Marshall Faulk, Claudie Minor, Haven Moses, Ephraim Salaam, Brian Sipe and over a hundred other pro football players? That one?

The only thing stopping an individual at an NFL level is genetics. The body can only go so far based on the cards your given unless HGH is introduced.

I want Hillman to succeed like every Bronco fan but he is just limited physically. Small backs in todays NFL get blown up when they cant hit the corner. If Hillman puts size on he loses speed getting to the edge. Its almost a lose lose situation for his frame since he is not a freak of nature.

The kid works hard and if he is going to be successful this year he cant let up on the gas. I hope he proves all the haters wrong including myself.

Id also like to see a link where ayers said this cause I don't remember seeing or hearing that at all until a month ago.
