    I'm a little late to this party but it seems to make sense. Gronkowski makes the NE offense go, DC (yeah, you JDR) need to take another page out of the Belichick playbook: Take their best player out of the game and make someone else beat you. Using two players on Gronk would be risky but, against a good offense, risks much be taken. Plus, it could (should) be different two players depending on the playcall - maybe two lbs, maybe a lb/s, etc. Brady can run a little but it's not like he's going to pull a Russel Wilson imitation.

    The reason that worked was because it was in the red zone and Atlanta needed to throw the ball... not a very good idea in the middle of the game in the open field.
