  • DT - the Blocker

    It was a snippet, but worth drawing attention to. DT was a monster blocking last week, often one arming d-backs to the ground - he mentioned it was something nobody was talking about despite his 3 TDs. Thought I'd put it here since I read it ona DPost post game article. Add it to the list of why we need him.
    Hate List for 2016-2017 Season: 1. Oakland, 2. New England, 3. Kansas City, 4. Pittsburgh and 5. Houston (yes, Houston....)

    There were a couple of run plays where he did some blocking at LOS. He's a better blocker than JT, but he did a lot of that in college.

      When Latimer takes the third WR spot then him and DT will be a real threat blocking. The trips package with Sanders getting the ball will probably yield some insane gains.

          Good post. DT is an awesome football player. Gotta love a WR that blocks as well as he receives. Pay da man!!

            His blocking ability should come as no surprise as, as Sam mentioned, it was basically his primary job in GTech. But also remember in 2011, Tebow and that "multi-option" offense we ran was heavily dependent upon he and Deck tying up DB's and LB's downfield for 95% of the plays we ran.
