  • 2015 Pro Bowl current voting leaders: Defense -Chris Harris Not in Top 10

The official source for NFL news, video highlights, fantasy football, game-day coverage, schedules, stats, scores and more.

This is a joke. Proof that the average NFL fan knows very little about football. Harris has been the top corner in football this year. That's not me being a homer. All the stats and metrics back that assertion up. I understand that some fringe players will always be left out because of the talent at every position through the league, but this is not one of those cases. This is a case of someone continuing to be overlooked because he was a)undrafted and b) because he quietly goes about being the best, without pulling all the prima dona attention grabbing rants you see from some of the players on that list.

I honestly enjoy watching the Pro Bowl most years, but the system is obviously broken. The average fan should not have as big a part in the selection process as they do.

I apologize for the rant above, but I was so furious seeing that list I had to put my thoughts down somewhere, I figured this was a place I could post and it wouldn't be too out of place.

Cool! A Pro Bowl would add a couple million to that contract extension

Be thankful as hell for that fact... Let him fly under the radar. The less everyone outside of Denver thinks of him the less it costs us to keep him.

He is not a flashy player, but a good one and a pro bowl would up his salary considerably - though he is deserving.

Maybe many think we're going to the Super Bowl, and Harris won't play in the Pro Bowl if we go to Arizona in February.

In all seriousness, it's a popularity contest. Harris is amazing, no doubt. But he isn't well known, unlike guys like Richard Sherman or Darrelle Revis. That's why he ain't in top 10. He deserves it though.

Overrated Sherman is up there though. He keeps himself relevant with his big mouth

Yeah, if he got the pro-bowl, it would work his way to get more money. Not saying that he doesn't deserve it but we got quite a few folks we want to reatain.

The pro-bowl voting doesn't just affect Chris Harris, I felt as though it was only big names everyone knows; Von Miller, Peyton Manning, DeMarcus Ware, and I believe that is it (please correct me if I am wrong). As for the rest of the players on the tentative roster, EVERYONE has heard of them: Luke Kuechly (CAR), Charles Woodson, and RIchard SHerman to name a few.

Just worry about OUR games as a team. The Pro-Bowl is like being on this year's addition of Sports Illustrated swim suit models haha; just who knows you and just a tribute.

You guys keep thinking that Chris is not going to get his money because the Fans don't vote him into the ProBowl.... Those same fans will not be the one trying to throw money to lure him away from us, it will be guys that know exactly how good he is.

No other corner in this league can play the slot and one side of the field like this guy without skipping a beat. Guys that make this their profession know this.

Harris about to get paid regardless of what fans think, and when he does those same fans will get to see just exactly what this guy brings to the table.

Problem is the coaches and players will vote him in as they make up 2/3 of the votes. He will make the probowl and if he doesn't than O well he will be an under the radar guy and save us a little.

The voice of reason here - Harris is getting a huge contract next year regardless. I think Elway knows his value and considers the two biggest players we need to keep are him and DT (1a, 1b).

Great let him fly under the Radar and he won't even be in the Probowl because he will be in Arizona

I'm all for letting him be a well kept secret. A lot of times players get snubbed for a Pro Bowl spot and then make it the following year just because they got snubbed the previous year. So if Harris doesn't go this year, he likely will next year.

There is no way Harris is flying under the radar except with ignorant fans (literal sense, not pejorative).

I guarantee other teams are well aware of who he is and how well he is playing. They don't just scout popular players like the Mannings and the Millers.
