  • Quinton Carter and Montee Ball headed to season ending Injured reserve

BREAKING: In need of 2 roster spots, Broncos place Montee Ball, Quinton Carter on season-ending IR
    via Klis from the Post.

    Thoughts?
I guess we're using CJ & Juwan for the rest of the season. Bruton played well at saftey too last week.

I wonder what's up with Carter? I hadn't heard a injury? I totally expected this love with ball with the emergence of Anderson, Thompson and Hillman.

One spot is to activate Trevathan the other we may call Bibbs up but I wouldn't be shocked if it's another position.
A healthy Kenneth Dixon is a top 5 NFL RB.

It's a shame, but the good news is guys have emerged and are more than ready.
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?
      I don't know and I don't care

I've been wondering the same with Carter

I still like Montee Ball, it's unfortunate that we can't take him with us as insurance into the playoffs. Hopefully this gives him time to heal properly from everything that's happened this year and returns with the explosion he showed us in 2013.

The good news is that the team must feel really good about the progression of CJ, Juwan, and Kapri.

It also sucks losing Q, I hate to see decent players go down to injuries, especially nagging ones. Hopefully he gets healthy enough to play somewhere again because some reporters have speculated that it might be his last season with Denver.

One is for Danny, another for a 6'3" 270lb TE off the PS

Corrected stats and a link. He's only 6'3", still 270 lbs though.

Not surprised with Q, he might have to retire.

Interesting move with the TE, given we have zero TE's under contract next year.

                          This is from rotoworld, contract status wise: 12/7/2013: Signed a three-year, $1.710 million contract. 2014: $570,000, 2015: $660,000, 2016: Restricted Free Agent

Sucks about Ball but that isnt surprising, his hammy isnt gonna get better.

We all saw it coming with Ball, but I wasn't aware Q's injury was so serious. That being said, Bruton looked much more active as the 3rd safety.

Great news about Danny Trevathan being activated

The TE has to be a blocking TE at that size surely?

Carter having problems with Knee that he underwent Micro fracture surgery on----That surgery has ended many careers and shortened even more. Feel bad for him, he very well may have played his last game as a Bronco. Good Luce Q Very excited to see Jones
