Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Terrance Knighton receives the 2014 Darrent Williams Good Guy Award
"On Friday night Denver Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton was presented with the eighth-annual Darrent Williams Good Guy Award by Jeff Legwold on behalf of the Denver chapter of Pro Football Writers of America.
This award is given annually to a Broncos player who shares the same enthusiasm, cooperation and honesty while dealing with members of the media.
This award was created in memory of the late Darrent Williams who tragically passed away on New Years Day in 2007." ...
I also am glad Knighton is a Bronco. I hope the FO finds a way to lock him up. He have a leader who is a hell of a player at the DT position... Something that we have lacked in years past.
Love Potroast. I really think he has become the leader of our D. Over Ware and Miller in my mind.
I agree. And he really is a warm hearted big fella isn't he ........... of course .... till he gets on the field. I'd imagine having the ability to overpower nearly all other humans you come across allow you to be a lot nicer off the field. Walk softly and carry a big schtick
The beatings will continue until morale improves....

Has anyone ever told you that you have a wicked sense of humor? You do! Some of your posts crack me up.
- Terrance Knighton and the women who raised him -
"Terrance Knighton’s mother, grandmother and aunt raised him. Though he lacked a father’s influence, these women raised him to be a strong, thoughtful man. Literally.
When she was pregnant with Terrance Knighton, she dreamt that he would play in the NFL. In the dream, her future son was running around with a football and she asked him where he was going and his answer was simple: “The NFL.”
Nine months pregnant with the future NFL player, Rochelle walked across the stage of her high school graduation with a huge belly. Her classmates called her “the Michelin Tire girl.”
She was just 18 years old when she gave birth to Terrance on the Fourth of July in 1986.
It’s said that it takes a whole village to raise a child. In Knighton’s case, it took three women: Rochelle; his grandmother, Martha Gates; and his aunt, Regina Knighton. These three women molded a future NFL playmaker and a genuine, honest man." ...
