The Associated Press unveiled its 2014 All-Pro roster Friday, which listed both tight end Rob Gronkowski and defensive end J.J. Watt as unanimous selections. Watt was featured on each of the 50 voters' ballots, putting him both on the All-Pro first and second team. The following is a breakdown of the winners and how many votes each received.

DT, Knighton, Von and Harris could have been on list in place of Brown, Darius, Dumervil and Sherman/Revis. Hard to argue with the list because all these players had great years.

You could maybe have Harris over Sherman or Revis but both of them had outstanding years.

Harris may get in if he keeps it up in the coming years.

MAYBE Von over Dumervil (he doesnt even start), but minus that not qualms with the list.

DT should have made it also over Dez, forgot that one.

The one that jumped out to me was Chris Harris Jr not being on there: I think he had a better year than both Revis and Sherman. In regards to DT and Dez, the voters appear to have gone with the TDs over the receptions and yards, and with Von and Doom appear to have gone with the sacks over the player's overall impact.

I am actually suprised Sen Derrick Marks didn't make it. He is a DT for the Jags. I am sure half of you don't know him. He is a beast, and has been for back to back seasons. He finished with 8.5 sacks, and was a menace for QBS all year.

He is 2nd in NFL in sacks for a DT behind only Darius. IMO the only reason he didn't get in is because he was on the Jags. If he was on a team that wasn't playing from behind alot, he would have better stats.

We did get most of our deserving guys on the 2nd team All-pro team though. I think Chris Harris deserved 1st team though. I'd also take DT over Dez, but Jordy Nelson also deserved 1st team too.

Not sure how Elvis makes the team over Von, or even Lavonte David. Odd selection. Bobby Wagner played in 11 games. He's one of the 2 best ILB in NFL?

The one on this list that I don't get is Eric Weddle. He has flashes of brilliance then complete and utter collapses. Not sure who I would put there over him just don't feel like he has played at an all pro level for the last couple of years.

Revis covers the better route runner, Browner covers the bigger receiver.

Von not being first team is a travesty, but Harris was number three in vote getters by a CB. I'm also really surprised that Manning received zero votes.

His play really did tail off the second half of the season though - not surprised he's not chosen.

In fact ... I heard on the Morning Show yesterday; Mike Florio was asked, "what's the word around the league on how to play the Broncos?" He said this ...

"Stop Denver's running game and make Manning win it."

That's been the successful method here in the second half of the reg season hasn't it? This is GREAT NEWS ..... just so long as Denver still can turn on the passing game. Because as we all remember, the biggest weakness of the offense was that despite the fact that the Broncos could run the ball -at times- no one respected the running game. They didn't think Denver even wanted to run it. They didn't think Denver respected the running game. So they played defense accordingly. Namely -Seattle.

Well, if Florio is saying the opposite now ......... I'm thinking to myself, 'mission accomplished'. What Denver needs is the threat of a running game 1st. 2nd they'll take a successful running game if the opponent can't stop it. 3rd (and this is what everyone is wondering) 3rd they'll rely on that record setting Star Wars passing offense if need be.... or maybe even to get a quick lead in a tough match up.

Regardless 1 2 or 3, the Broncos knew they had to get more balanced and they did it. The league now has to respect the running game. I love this franchise. Elway is probably the mastermind. Not that it's rocket-surgery or anything but we all read the reports of Elway's initiating the transition toward balance if not outright imbalance favoring Rushing the ball.

I hope the Broncos DO have something up their sleeve. I hope they've been playing vanilla and making opponents respect the entire field. This COULD be the season.
