JT is the bigger question mark based on his injury history before last season and now at the end of this season. Also his franchise tag amount is significantly lower than DT's, wouldn't the smart money be on signing DT to the longer term contract reducing the cap hit and franchising JT. That way you hedge against JT having a bad/injured year.

Personally I would rather just keep Green, let JT go and use his money along with Knighton's money and use it on Suh if you bring in Austin to coach.

Agree Virgil is the better blocker, but if our line was working the way it should, JT would be in for more plays giving more options to the offence.

I cannot see DT getting the franchise tag... but who knows.

I do not think we can keep both Green and JT and imo our team will lose more games because of Green being gone then JT

I doubt they will be agressive on getting Julius.

    - Broncos aim to re-sign Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas -

"Broncos general manager John Elway said that once he finds a new head coach, he'll focus on re-signing impending free agents Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas, reports the Denver Post.

"We've got a good base of guys for the most part, with the exception of a couple Thomases and a couple other guys we'll work on once we get through the coaching search to be able to tie them down (and) hopefully have them back," Elway said.

Denver could use its franchise tag on wideout Demaryius Thomas if the sides can't agree on a multiyear deal. He and tight end Julius Thomas combined for 23 touchdowns this season."

Working...
