Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Broncos have agreed to terms with long snapper Aaron Brewer
As expected, once Manning's deal gets done other interesting things will start to happen. Finally the wait is over - looking back, it really did take a long time. Almost all of it
Brewer is the best player you NEVER want to hear about. If he does his job well you never hear his name and he is the best unknown player on the team. :thumb:
What I also like is he can run down there and make a tackle on punts which is crucial with our special teams

The Broncos have reached an agreement with long snapper Aaron Brewer on a four-year contract.
Brewer, who has been a Broncos long snapper since 2012, was a restricted free agent. The minimum tender for a restricted free agent is $1.59 million, which would have made him the highest-paid long snapper by nearly $500,000.
The multiyear contract will average considerably less on a yearly basis.
