Goose Gonsoulin is second in career picks for the Broncos at 43, one fewer than Steve Foley. However, Gonsoulin's picks came in seven years and 94 games while Foley's came in eleven years and 150 games. Three of Goose's picks came his last season with the Niners. All of his were as a Safety. He died in September last year.
Steve Foley, a career Bronco, had about half his 44 picks as a Corner.
Billy Thompson had 40, 29 of which came from the S position. His thirteen year career was all in Denver.
Tyrone Braxton had 34 about half of which came when he was a S including 1996 when he had 9. He played one season in Miami.
Mike Harden had 33 picks as a Bronco and 5 as a Raider. About 10 of his Bronco picks came from the Safety spot.
Charlie Greer, a CU Buffalo, played all his seven pro years in Denver. He had 17 picks all except four of which came as a Safety.
John Rowser had a ten year NFL career (26 picks) with three teams (GB, Pitt, Den). His last three seasons were in Denver where he had 5 picks as a FS and 4 as a Corner.
