Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Cody Latimer receptive to playing big role for Denver Broncos in 2015
Cody Latimer receptive to playing big role for Denver Broncos in 2015
Wide receiver Cody Latimer opens a hallway door at Dove Valley and walks straight into the question that hung over him last season: Why couldn't he get on the field?
That was definitely a great read. It definitely makes more sense now why he was struggling to see the field while we still had to endure watching Caldwell make mistake after mistake. I can definitely understand why a rookie WR would struggle in a Peyton lead offense. Going from a college system with very basic calls to the most complex offense in the league is no easy task. From the sound of it though it seems like he is putting in the work to be great. Hopefully we get the chance to see that come into reality this year.

Couldn't agree more. I couldn't imaging coming into the NFL as a rookie and have to meet Manning's expectations. I hope he makes big strides this year.

Someone tell Cody to make his shirts available in XXL (preferably XXXL) and I will get a couple of orange ones and a couple of blue ones. Getting a t-shirt from a player a respect plus the proceeds going to cancer seem too good to pass up.
We can keep both for 3 or 4 years depending on how much we are paying DT when Latimer becomes a free agent.
At that point we may have to choose one or the other.
The whole question is who else goes if we keep DT. There is about 34 mil uncommitted for next year. And at this time we have about 32 players under contract.
That means we have to sign at least 20 guys to reach our 53 roster.
Sure ware and manning may go but then They may not.
IMO DT is gone to a bottom feeder that can offer him 3-5 mil more per year. If for no other reason they can market him as a super star and sell more tickets.
Unless he takes a huge discount to stay here NO KNOWING if manning will be back or his roll in a run based offense.
We are going to have around 70 mil next year...80+ if manning and ware are gone, both likely scenarios. We will have plenty of money for all of our stars and anything else.
So far:
FA- Melvin Gordon. Brandon Scherff
1. Kenneth Murray LB; 2. Shenault WR; 2B. Biadazz Center, 3. OT

Not according to OTC
"Broncos
$34,533,054 32 $150,000,000 $115,466,946"
That is 34 mil available 32 under contract
150 estimated cap and 115 mil for those 32 guys
Maybe another 22-25 or so if both ware and manning leave, After replacing them.
Denver Broncos salary cap, contracts, bonus money, dead money, and cap savings for every player
The cap will go up again next year. It's $143 this year, I bet it's at least 5M more.
Before Virgil, Daniels and Joe Duncan were signed, we had $100M in contracts for next year.
$43M in space, + whatever is the increase. Lets just say roughly $50M.
If Manning isn't on the team (he will not be) that is another 20M.
That's $70M to play with. Ware and Clady if cut is another 18M.
88M.
Keep in mind the Broncos only have like 30 guys under contract for next year. Cheap RFA's (Marshall) and others will keep more around. We will also have 7-
