Doss picked off 15 passes in three years for Tulsa, but has size and athletic limitations. He'll also need to improve his tackling to get on the field in the NFL. Special teams should be Doss' rookie home.
Is 4.4 speed considered athletically limited now?

He ran a 4.5 at the combine at had pretty low scores for everything else:

      7.2 for 3 cone, best was 6.61
115 broad jump, best was 147
      33.5 vertical. best was 44.5

The Broncos got all three of their seventh-round compensatory picks under contract Friday, signing quarterback Trevor Siemian, cornerback Taurean Nixon and safety Josh Furman to deals.

The trio joins fourth-round center/guard Max Garcia, fifth-round cornerback Lorenzo Doss and sixth-round nose tackle Darius Kilgo as 2015 Broncos draft picks to sign their contracts this week.

Only the three first- and second-day picks remain unsigned, but the Broncos are well on their way to ensuring all of their selections are under contract before the start of training camp.

This would mimic last year's success at getting the signings done early, when the Broncos had all of their 2014 picks under contract by June 10.

Broncos signed No. 59 overall pick OT Ty Sambrailo, seventh-round CB Taurean Nixon, and seventh-round QB Trevor Siemian to four-year contracts.

Sambrailo succeeded current Packers LT David Bakhtiari as the starting left tackle at Colorado State, allowing just one sack as a senior. In Denver, Sambrailo will open the preseason as the heavy favorite to start at right tackle. The Broncos still need to figure out their left guard and center positions.

I think the link is misinformed.

David Bakhtiari played at the University of Colorado in Boulder. It's close to Colorado State University in Fort Collins and is also in the state of Colorado, but they are indeed two separate places and two different schools which play in two different conferences.

Given his "limitations"...I wonder if CB L Doss
                is better off at FS?

He seems like a ballhawk with his 10+ picks.

                Any thoughts?

As of right now he is not a good tackler. Most of the time seems happy to let the ball carrier come to him instead of attacking. He may be able to fix that, but right now I don't see him as a safety.
