    "Peyton Manning was in town (Indianapolis) Friday to support the hospital that bears his name. And that's what he wanted to talk about.

    Not DeflateGate. Not New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

    The kids are what Manning cares about.

    The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback is throwing his considerable support behind an $8 million campaign to build a home away from home for families of seriously ill children undergoing treatment at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent.

    St. Vincent House, to be built on St. Vincent's 86th Street campus, will have 20 private rooms, a chapel and a community room for use by families who live more than 30 miles away. There will be no charge for families to use the facility. ...

    "I am truly honored to be affiliated with a pediatric facility that not only provides an array of comprehensive services for patients across the state of Indiana, but that caters to the mind, body and spirit of the entire family," Manning said.

    "St. Vincent House will help ensure that families are able to remain close while they are receiving exceptional care."" ...

    "When football star Peyton Manning celebrates something, he invites all of his famous friends to the party. Dierks Bentley was on hand at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital on Friday night (May 8), and took the stage with the sportsman for a duet of the Johnny Cash classic “Folsom Prison Blues.”

    Manning’s hospital held its 8th Annual Celebration of Caring Gala at the hospital in Indianapolis. Even though he’s no longer a Colt, the player still give back to the Indy community, and he asked Bentley to come give a helping hand, too.

    The country singer rocked his normal concert uniform of a graphic T-shirt and jeans, but Manning was dapper in a blue suit and red tie. Although Manning may not be quite as talented a vocalist as Bentley, it was still a once-in-a-lifetime performance to witness. Manning gave it his all nonetheless and, of course, it was for the kids. Bentley smiled and laughed alongside the football player." ...

      "Peyton Manning is no stranger to a following of devoted fans. On Thursday, the Denver Broncos quarterback sent a heartwarming message to one fan who is fighting for her life.

      Sabrina Montgomery, a mother of three who is battling breast cancer, was featured on NBC’s Today segment “Everyone Has A Story.” ...

      The segment closed with a special message for Montgomery that left her in tears.

      “Just wanted to tell you that I hear you’re a big fan of mine, and I appreciate that. And I wanted you to know I’m a big fan of yours. And I’m pulling for you and praying for you and your family. I wish you all the best,” Peyton said in the video message."
