  • Broncos' Peyton Manning is best deep passer last three seasons

    - Broncos' Peyton Manning is best deep passer last three seasons -

"Peyton Manning has heard all the concerns about his decreasing arm strength and how he can't attack teams down the field anymore as he approaches 40 years old.

But despite all the chatter, nobody has completed more deep passes than the Denver Broncos quarterback in the last three years.

Pro football focus added up all the successful passes that traveled 20-plus yards in the air the last three seasons, and Manning ranked first with 102 completions. ...

While Manning's arm might not quite be the same as it used to be, he's found a way to still be effective with the deep ball in Denver. Manning has ranked in the top three in the NFL for completions of 20-plus yards in each of his three seasons with the Broncos, including when he led the league with 68 such completions in 2013." ...

They went by completions? I would go by completion percentage, our 2014 offense had a pretty high number of pass attempts.

          2014:
manning-28/56...2 of which were 41+ yards in air, neither was complete
Rodgers:24/48...5 of which were 41+ yards and completed 3 of the 41+

Last season Rodgers had better stats, Manning wasn't far behind.

Why are you nitpicking with 41+ yards? Seems odd. The article is about 20+ yard passes.
