Legends Recognize Manning On Brink of Wins Record

Nice little video at NFL.com as a tribute to Manning as he nears the all-time wins record.

Like him now or not, he has accomplished a lot in his career.

IMO unless injured he will put some of those records out of sight next year.

You really think he will come back for a fifth season?

Something that's really impressive about him about to get the wins record is that his first season in the league, the Colts went 3-13. He also missed an entire season in 2011 to that neck injury. Those two things happened, and he still gets the record. That's very impressive.

Ultimately, Brady will own the wins record.
As it stands today, Peyton is at 186, and Brady is at 168. Peyton should end this season around 192-193, Brady will end this season around 175 we'll say( the way NE is playing).
If Peyton plays one more year, you figure he'll finish around 203, maybe as many as 205, whatever.
These guys will both finish with over 200 (if Peyton plays in 2016), which is remarkable.
For perspective, the list right now is:
            Peyton - 186
            Favre - 186
            Brady - 168
            Elway - 148
            Marino - 147
            Tarkenton - 124
            Brees - 121
            Unitas - 118
            Montana - 117
            Big Ben - 109

And so on. These two guys will both get over 200, and how many others will even last long enough to make 150?
Brees? Ben? It takes a lot of talent, a lot of years, and playing on good teams.
