  • Ward and Williams suffers high ankle sprain

Broncos SS T.J. Ward suffered a high-ankle sprain Sunday night against the Patriots.

He and DT Sylvester Williams suffered high-ankle injuries on the same play in the first quarter. Ward was spotted with a boot on his left foot as he left the locker room Sunday night. Both players should be out at least a couple weeks.

    Next man up.

Our pass rush was not very strong before Williams left and didn't change much afterward though we did get some hits on Brady and eventually the final 3-and-out in OT.

Ward's injury could have a bigger impact with our run defense.

Vance Walker stepped up for Sly.Wonder whether Roby will get a chance with more looks to take Wards spot.

Hopefully they will be healthy by time we play the Bengals.
