    Great point Sam

This is the upside of teams over paying our players...we get more picks.

We know it not the same but it is how the game works under the current rules.

I agree but I was wondering if a QB of Peyton's caliber should not be worth a 2nd...another comment i have is how on earth can one of the leagues worst tackles equal one of the leagues best ILB's statistically? - in terms of comp picks....

Wow.....that is a lot of fire power when it comes to trade possibilities. If you can offer 2 decent picks for 1 better one, perhaps even 3 picks for a real stud, you become lethal.

There is method to the madness folks......although I don't really believe there's any madness in the first place.

CJ losing wouldnt count to it since hes a RFA if they dont match.
Stephenson currently does cancel out Danny. And I thought that losing an RFA (CJ) to another team's offer sheet qualified you as a Compensatory Free Agent, but looking further into it, it seems that you're probably right so that losing CJ to Miami wouldn't factor into the equation.

According to Jason La Canfora, compensatory picks are now able to be traded.

Edit: They cannot be traded in 2016. The change to allow them will start in 2017.

Sure. Free agency is interesting and sometimes pretty exciting, but stockpiling draft picks is the way to build a team on a long-term plan. The loss of Malik, Brock and Danny will be mitigated.

I agree. Our Roster is too talented to keep 10 new faces

Speaking of Gradkowski, he just signed a 3 year deal with the Panthers.
