Bummer. I was hoping they could keep him for depth and Special Teams but it would have been a long shot. Ah well. Good luck to Bruton in the future.

He was a true TEAM leader. He was very well respected around the locker room and I'm truly sad to see him go. He was called upon often to step up and always did, in a major way. He was so much of a team chemistry impacting player that Elway openly said one of his biggest regrets this past season was IR'ing him.

Too bad. I was hoping he would have been re-signed.

Maybe S Cravens from USC as a possible replacement? Not just a nice SS but potentially a ST standout?

Was hoping his market would stay cold so we could bring him back. Good luck in Washington Bruton we will miss you

I'm glad he got paid, cause, well... the Redskins...

Thanks Bruton for the tough play!

Bruton’s deal is worth $9 million over three years with a possible $1.5 million in incentives to be earned.

Broncos worked to keep Bruton, even matching the Redskins' offer. Came down to playing time.

That's unfortunate. Loved having him here. Wish him the best in DC.

According to NFL.com we matched the offer and he still decided to leave to vie for more playing time.
