Not surprising, we are the Broncos. We are use to being overlooked.

Doesn't matter. We are lucky enough to have Pat which is something the rest aren't. Thank you Mr. Bowlen. We love you and there is nothing like Broncos Country. Wouldn't trade it or Pat for any other. And all we need is each other.

Interesting point...both HoF's are way too much like a popularity contest with specific media. With the R&R Hall, if you're not a darling of Rolling Stone mag and their cronies, you don't have much of a chance. And all of us prog rock fans know Rolling Stone has always absolutely hated Tull/Yes/King Crimson/etc...meanwhile Donna Summer, Public Enemy and NWA are in the "rock and roll" hall of fame...what the heck do any of those have to do with rock and roll? Should they be in some music hall of fame? Maybe, but not the rock and roll hall. Makes as much sense as Jerome Bettis and Tony Dungy in Canton

Partnering with multiple networks and Sunday Night Football don't happen without Pat Bowlen, plain and simple.

You would have to think with our current roster we are going to have some more division titles and possible Super Bowls in the next 5 years too.Just Makes Mr B's record look that much better again.

And here's Peter King defending Jerry Jones being chosen over Bowlen, including making the comment that "only the Patriots have won more Super Bowls than the Cowboys 3 since Jones bought the team." Of course he overlooks the fact that Denver has also won 3 Super Bowls in that time, and that all of them have come since the last Cowboys Super Bowl. And that the Cowboys decline came when he forced Jimmy Johnson (the person who built that team) out and took over as GM.

Final comment, Peter King is the worst. He plays favourites with people who talk to him and has done things like defending Darren Sharper's HOF bid even after Sharper was charged with numerous sex crimes.

                OT response first:
There's a lot of non-Rock in the R&R HOF. That's because the R&R HOF is the only such institution around to celebrate the great music of past generations. And also, R&R has no exact definition or boundaries. It is mix of every "style" and genre of music. So it would be disrespectful to not include great artist from all the various genre's of music that have contributed to some of the legends in the R&R HOF. Thers's no "Souther Rock" or Elvis without Southern Blues, Southern Gospel, and Country. Gene Simmons comments showed just how much of a self centered, ignorant, tool he really is.

                Now back on topic.......

This officially makes the HOF a joke. You know, I hate the way TD and Atwater get dome every year. But this was the one chance to make things right by us, and the voters in that room blew it. It's downright disrespectful.

Downright disrespectful is a good way of putting it. How do these people sleep at night?

Pat Bowlen is as good as they come. He is one of the greatest Owners in sports history.

No need to even challenge this outcome. It is not worthy of discussion.

We know it, everyone knows it. The Cowboys have been a dumpster fire since the early 90s after Jimmy Johnson left. They have nothing on the Broncos and Mr. B. It's down right criminal that Jerry Jones is a finalist over Pat. If there's a football god, Jerry wont get nominated in, and Mr. B will get it next year.

The biggest travesty of this all, is that there's a chance that Pat may not make it to see his nomination. What's the point in nominating someone after they're passed? If you appreciate someone and what they've done for you, you tell them when they're still alive.

I could quote this over and over

Bowlen is by far the better team owner and imo has done far more for the buisness side of the NFL

Jones is in Dallas and that is about the ONLY thing he has over Mr Bowlen....but for the media based HoF voters that is all he needs
Time to build on the win and grow the team from some solid play higher level of play

Did the Hall Of Fame not learn anything from this year's presentation when numerous members of the ESPN media said what a shame it was that Ken Stabler had to be inducted posthumously?

I hate to even think it, but with Bowlen's health issues, we may be looking at a similar situation.
