  • Taurean Nixon to 53-man roster and what he did on game days...

Here's what he's been doing with his time when the team travels on Sundays without him:

"A rookie seventh-rounder out of Tulane, Nixon lives the typical practice squad life.
He serves multiple roles on the scout team, covering wideouts Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel
Sanders on one series, then switching to offense and running receiver
routes against corners Aqib Talib and Chris Harris. It’s the same grueling schedule...
for a fraction of the paycheck and none of the glory on game days.

When Nixon realized in early September that he wouldn’t travel to road games,
he figured he needed to find a way to make himself feel useful on Sundays.
His solution was simple: Go to the hospital and make a kid’s day."

What a great human being! I hope he does extremely well today.

So Jeff Heuerman wasn't just barely hanging on?! I'm sure the Broncos told Phillips they'd sign him again as early as next week. Once the corners are healthy I'm sure they'll just reverse this move.

Tough game to have 2 of our CBs out but we seem to be able to really coach guys up at CB.

Time for Nixon to show the world what he is all about :thumb:

I am sure this is just the chance he has been waiting on.
Time to build on the win and grow the team from some solid play higher level of play

I'm excited to see how Doss and Nixon do.
