I agree that the Broncos job is probably the best one but the Jags have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball, they just need to put it all together.

One interesting thing to remember about Kubes retiring - the Broncos have never won a Super Bowl without Kubiak. He was OC for the first 2 and HC for this last one of course. He will be missed and will forever be a part of this great organization! Here's to Gary and wishing he and his family health and happiness with this decision. He will forever be a Denver Bronco to many of us.

Apparently the Rams have asked the Saints for permission to talk to Payton. That would be interesting, and if it happens I would guess that the Saints will regret the contract extension they gave to Brees.

Not just Kubiak, they haven't won a Super Bowl without Brian Pariani or Rick Dennison either. Maybe one of those two is really the magic one?

I think it's obvious. Pariani is the magical link

He left Denver after 2004 and was the Syracuse OC in 2005, maybe Denver wins the Super Bowl that year if he had stayed?

The only thing that might make this job undesirable is the pressure to win now. Elway expects results right away.

Hmmm, good point. Maybe keep him on in a consultant capacity that way he remains 'with' the team?

As a coach, if you were hired by the Broncos, the pressure to "win now" is there. We are only 1 or 2 pieces from the complete package, and proper execution.

If this organization isn't hiring or looking a a coach with a "win now" mentality, we have the wrong person!
                    It's all good fun!

Not every coach will want to work with Elway. Most Denver fans love the guy but outside of Denver it is another ball of wax. The next HC will have to be able to work with Elway. I think any coach will want to win now, but not any coach will be able to get along with John.
