Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Shane Ray, Jake Butt to resume practicing next Monday
I'm just ready to begin the butt puns many of us have been holding onto this whole time. It's like constipation, the puns are there, they want to come out, but Butt just isn't ready yet.
Cmon man, going for the silly stuff all the time!! Grow up!
But I think we should hang onto Butt. We want him, because we do not want to get "behind" in the standings. It would be a real bummer if he missed much more action!

Hahaha! The Butt puns! Yeah, grow up! There’s nothing funny about a tight end named Butt. I think you need to turn the other cheek, and get behind Butt’s rise to glory.

It’s awesome having a dude named ‘Butt’ on the team! Especially if he turns out to be as good as we’re all hoping! It’s a cool name with endless possibilities…and could soon be synonymous with “greatness!” Think clutch – think legend – think Butt.
Shane is a Ray, Derek is a Wolfe, Garett Bolles people over, it’s always Miller Time, and…Jake Butt. Like the old saying goes, “they hate us `cause they anus.” :thumb:
