  • Demaryius Thomas discusses Broncos career & retirement

  • #2
Congrats to DT on a terrific career. A top 2 receiver in franchise history. That 2012-2016 run was simply dominant. On the field, "Optimus Prime" was a size-speed mismatch and made the most of his tremendous potential. His production and durability during his peak was incredibly valuable. Off the field, he was a fixture in the Denver community and was a steady presence in the locker room-- influencing and mentoring some of the younger players on the team like Sutton and Patrick during his last year or so with the Broncos. There's so many words that I could use to describe DT's career and impact here, but I'll keep it short with this post.

      Congrats to DT.

The man was a machine (and an overall good guy) for the Broncos. A true 'rags to riches' story - from a troubled childhood to successful NFL WR.

DT was a serious force!! Had some great seasons and accumulated a load of stats! Will be remembered as one of our best all time WRs. My goodness, 5 straight years of 90 or more receptions and 1,000 yards plus.

Love the genuine 'giddiness' in DT's face when Manning comes on....
