    This information is being taken straight from the master report. I summarizing the top athletes for each position that worked out. Several of the top prospects chose to sit out the Combine in favor of their Pro Days. Any information you may have heard until the following stats was merely hearsay and unofficial.

    Update on Antrel Rolle, he ran a 4.42 at his pro day. Interestingly, it was on damp grass. I know there are conversions for fast astro turf, rubber track, and high natural grass, but damp grass? That sounds like an injury waiting to happen. Anyways, all I have is his time of 4.42 in Coral Gables.

      I have this:

      Antrel Rolle posted solid timings in the mid-4.4 area (4.45 and 4.45 hand timed) with a vertical jump of 38 inches. Rolle ran a 3.97/3.99 short shuttle. The Kansas City Chiefs are very high on Rolle while the Titans, Vikings and Jaguars have also spent significant time with him.
      But none of it is official yet, so I am leaving Pro Days out for now.

          Yeah, personally, I'm not a big fan of pro days because they lack uniformity, and can only lead to misleading figures and results. It would be nice to see a scenario where every draftee had to work out at the combine, with a secondary combine three weeks later for injured players and lesser prospects. That way every players data can be compared without uncontrolled variables, the first combine can remain a media event and the secondary combine would eliminate the perennial combine snub list. I know it is an impossible scenario, but it would be a welcomed system by most scouts and personnel directors I'm sure.

                There are only so many that are invited. However if invited and you accept you should have to perform all the tests they give you. If you don't perform you can't come period, freeing up an invitation to someone who cares.
