I gotta agree with Tx on this. We have several WR's and it would suck, imo, to waste them by signing someone like Brown when we have so many other pressing needs.

However, if we needed a WR, I couldnt think of a player I would rather have on my team. He stands for everything I desire out of a player as a paying fan.

Anyway, this isnt Bronco related. I RARELY mention this, but this is in the wrong forum........

exactly. he wasn't holding out.. they just released him. I think that will be a mistake the Patriots will look back on, personally. Here was a guy that was well liked in the locker room... stepped up HUGE for them, playing WR, KR, and CB... then to simply be let go like that... is rough.

There two problems I see with picking up Brown. First is his age, so wouldn't be here very long. Second, what do we do with all young receivers we have on the team. I would like to see how Watts, Jackson, Luke, Lelie, and Crenshaw develope. If bring in Brown that would cut down on their opportunities to develope.

i like him i think he would make a good fit in denver i know he is up there in years but if he was cheap should we go after him if he hasnt already been signed.. i think it would be a plug for a year or so

I also think he would be a good fit. He could return kicks as well as being a good 3rd WR. He would be a great pickup. I dont think he would be asking for much.
