Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Broncos | Could Invite Couch to Camp - from www.KFFL.com
Sun, 5 Jun 2005 08:18:50 -0700
Tony Grossi, of the Plain Dealer, reports if free agent QB Tim Couch (Packers) can get his shoulder fully healthy, the Denver Broncos might invite him to training camp.
Alright... Brown, Warren, Ekuban, Myers- they can live up to their full potential.
Wow, no way. LOL. When I first dubbed the "Browncos" nobody believes me, but this just takes the cake. LOL, LOL, LOL. Wow, hey let's trade for Braylon Edwards.
First, he's not been signed, he would just be "invited to training camp". If he beats Kanell, Mauck and Van Pelt, well, proably we would be better off with him.
And, yes, lately he was playing at a very low level, but he has a couple of good seasons under his belt, and he's an experienced QB, something we lack in the back-up position. Now, it doesn't help that not even Green Bay wanted him (considering that the back-up QB is the player with least possibilities to play in the NFL having Mr. Iron Horse, Favre there).
In any case, it's just a rumor, and he would have to earn his spot, so let's not get too upset about it.
im not sure why ppl are making fun of the fact that we got some cleveland players. they were some good players at a need position, the best available.
courtney brown was a great signing, we beat 2 top D's ('skins and bucs) to his sig. warren is a good DT and ekuban can pass rush. myers is versatile. talking to cleveland fans they actually loved there DL before the injuries when they dropped in the rankings.
also, tim couch would be a great pick-up. kanell is not very good and couch would be an improvement. he was a #1 pick about 4-5 years ago and is a very good player. i know alot of brown fans that HATED butch davis for sticking with holcomb when couch had so much potential.
