    That is a good question:

New England has Doug Flutie as a backup ( not bad )
Cincinatti has Jon Kitna still I believe
Cleveland has Charlie Frye as a backup (the future QB of the Browns)
Minnesota has Brad Johnson as a backup.

I believe Minnesota has the Best backup of that bunch.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

I believe they let Maddox go and he is a free agent. I could be mistaken though.

            I agree with Urinal Cake.
            Definitely Billy Volek.

Well, NE has two great backups

Rohan Davey is going to be good, Flutie is good

But Billy of Titans is definatley good, he started a good portion of last year and kept them respectable on offense

                Billy Volek...

he'll wind up starting about half the season again this year as a result of yet another McNair injury.

I vote Tommy Maddox and I don't believe he was released. He's still on the players page for the steelers.

I'd go with Kitna and the Bengals.

If Alex Smith is the starter for the 49ers, Rattay could be another option.

Unproven, but Rivers could be another good back-up.

The Chargers with Brees. By the end of this year or next he'll be right back to playing back-up to Rivers.

John Kitna. How nice would it be if Denver had him at back up. The guy should probably be starting somewhere, yet he has a great attitude about being back up to Palmer. Kitna just had a pro bowl caliber season 2 yrs ago. I would put Volek next, that guy had some good games last year.

I say Volek to but not cause im a titan fan cause of what he did everytime he back up mcnair including this yeat. BUT he wont have that much playing time this year cause mcnair is healtier then he has been in a long time. But volek is a good back. I dont think NE has good back ups.
Kerry Collins and Rich Gannon was a good combination but Rich is going to retire.

Doesn't Matter if you have a super bowl qb as your back up. It matter how they still play and if there still good!
