  • Preseason Running Game

This has to be the first time in a long time, ive been looking forward to the preseason. All of our running backs have an arguement to be the starter, and we'll be slamming with the running game deep into the 4th quarter. I'll actually will enjoy the 4th quarter with Ron Dayne or Maurice Clarrett running the ball, and Im looking forward to seeing backfield competition work itself out, while piling up 300 yards on the ground. Heres to the 2005 Preseason
You've got to know when to sack em...

NOt only the running game, but to see BVP come in after Jakes 1 series

THe D-line and the defense stir up trouble for the opposing offenses.

And to even get a preview of our special teams ( Williams returning punts/kicks, Saurbraten blasting punts)

I'm very excited about seeing all of our rookies play. Expecially Clarett and Foxworth. Those two guys may end up being the steals of the 2005 draft. I also wanna see BVP and Mauck battle it out against a "live defense". It's alot different standing in the pocket in camp knowing that you won't get creamed if you do get sacked. Put the pressure on them against an opposing D....we'll see who comes apart and makes a bonehead throw real fast.

If our running game is chewing up 200-300yds. a game..which I hope it does...takes the pressure off of JP...then that means the o-line is winning the LOS. Then it does'nt matter who is back there...take that back as long as it is not the little bug.. they will win games. Control the clock, keep the D. off of the field and put the other team in a panic mode. Get off the rb band wagon and get behind the men who make it or break it. A great o-line makes an average back a great back...see what happens in cleveland this year with drougns(sp?) WE ALL BETTER GET ON COACH DENNISONS WAGON AND ROUTE FOR HIM TO COACH THE HECK OUT OF THOSE GUYS. GO BRONCOS

Remember last years BVP performance. It was impressive!

            The three Keys to football
            1. Turnovers
            2. Field Position
            3. Red Zone Play

That's got to be a true testament to our depth and talent at running back. We're actually excited to watch our offense deep into a preseason game, although 300 yards may be stretching it a bit

I always have faith in our running game but I want to see how are TE will do in pre-season, because if our running game is going good play action to the TE will be a sweet deal and a clock sucker. So go Broncos this is our year.
