Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Luckily, since their aren't many mediocre teams, we won't drop too many places if they miss the playoffs. not may teams will be 9-7, 7-9 or 8-8, so if as long as they miss the playoffs, we should get a decent pick.
In other words, GO EAGLES!!!
Of course, I would have liked them to lose every game this year, but what can we do??
Anyway, when the Broncos made the trade, it was because they realized that the draft was not all that deep in the first round. It was thought that this draft would be much deeper. That being the case, perhaps it is best if we have the 24th pick this year versus having the 24th pick last year.
Bummer that the Skins have done so well this year, though.
They are ruining our shot at a mid-1st-round pick!!!!
HURRY UP AND LOSE ALREADY!!!!
Has anyone seen an updated mock in the lst week or two? What's it look like... pretty bad I am guessing.
C'mon MUG, what are our prospects for the bottom of round one?
I still think with one of the picks, we'll be looking at a WR, specifically Santonio Holmes, Derek Hagan, or Jason Hill. That's probably the later pick in the 26-32 range.
With the initial pick, in the 20-25 range, I can't see how we don't address DE or DT. There is not going to be a DT as good as Mike Patterson at this point in this draft, so to save face, I'm guessing we go with a DE, as there should be better DEs available then last draft. Most likely someone like Gaines Adams, Quentin Moses, Ray Edwards, or possibly even Elvis Dumervil slipping.
I think any of those DEs would be exciting to draft, and WRs could become special as well. So, two of those seven players are the guys we will probably be looking at based on the current roster and draft rankings.
