  • If Dayne isn't re-signed...

...do you guys think we'll draft a RB in the first round? Right now, it's not looking so good for the CBA which means we're pretty much stuck with what we've got on the current roster. If I know SHanny he'll want Warren back over Dayne, so if it's one or the other I think Warren stays.

There are a plethora of talented backs out there this year. I'm still crossing my fingers that we'll manage to get Abe with #29 and maybe grab a guy like White or Maroney at #22. I couldn't imagine either of those guys in our system. Especially Lendale White, that guys runs hard. He's really a guy who can wear down a defense. He reminds me of Jamal Lewis in his prime. Big, bruising, powerful, and just fast enough to break a big one every now and then.

It's almost a guarantee that he resigns IMO. Why wouldn't he? This situation team is perfect for him...

Who else can offer him a starting job in the perfect offense? He's said many times that he wants to stay and the FO's feeling are mutual.

      No way Dayne doesn't sign.....

But if he doesnt, i think they will draft a RB in the first round if they dont get Dayne, except if they want to get Calhoun in the second and the third, which i still feel he will be one of the better RB's from this crop.....

If Dayne doesn't re-sign, I want to go back and research his wonderlick.

In a case like that, it wouldn't surprise me to find he was the first ever to have finished with a score below zero.

Easy Solution: Maurice Drew w/ our second round pick.

But I say he resigns. I love the great Dayne.

Im strongly against the Abraham trade. Too many holes to fill, not enough money.

What we should do, but dont argue too hard because this is logical it directly means that Shanny will do the opposite....

Rounds 1-3 (in no specific order)
                DE
                TE
                RB
                DT
C (if one of the top ones is still there)
                WR

Depending on how our NFLE allocations pan out. Sign a veteran WR, not nessecarily TO, (I think we can hold out until next years deeper WR class anyways), and a cheap veteran CB.
