Somehow I don't see Young being a starting QB this season.

Saints are probably holding out for Leinhart. Brees to the Fins, Culp to Raiders, and Young to the Jets?

That could happen....I want to see Young go to the Raiders because I don't think he will be able to catch on as quickly and the Raiders would go 0-16...Bwahahahaha

Come on, with his 6 wonderlic, he'd be the smartest guy there. Smarter than Al!

But he might go to Tennessee, with McNair to back him up. Or the Cards will work out a deal with Houston to get him or Leinhart, now that they have The Edge!

            Anderson follows Pryce

RB joins ex-Broncos teammate in Baltimore

            By Bill Williamson
            Denver Post Staff Writer

Mike Anderson will join fellow recently cut Bronco Trevor Pryce in Baltimore.
Anderson agreed to a four-year contract, with a $2 million signing bonus, Sunday night. Saturday, Pryce, a defensive end, agreed to a five-year, $25 million deal, including a $10 million bonus, with the Ravens.

Both players, along with tight end Jeb Putzier, were cut by Denver March 1.

I heard on NFL Network that the Saints might take Jay Cutler.
Brees, Leinart, Young, and Cutler are all possibilities for them.
It will be interesting to see how this offseason plays out.

i wonder if this is just a stop-gap in case lewis doesn't re-sign, or if they'll give him a chance to compete for the starters job? if lewis leaves, i would expect them to draft a RB pretty early either way. . .

maybe they just want to be cool like us! silly ravens, you can't be the broncos just because you sign some of our old players. . .

What the Ravens really need is a new QB (the Kyle Boller experiment has been a disaster) and a new head coach (for an "offensive guru", Billick's offense is worse than terrible).

true-- and how much you wanna bet they end up with ol' kerry collins and boller next year? be fine with me if they do! if the "offensive genius" could have trotted out an even halfway decent O, they could have been a dominant squad for years. . .

I had hoped to have a shot at Darren Howard if we didn't land Abraham..... that may no longer be a possibility.

                      From KFFL:

Eagles | Team reportedly agrees to terms with Howard
                      Sun, 12 Mar 2006 22:01:34 -0800

Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports a source said the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to the terms of a six-year contract with free agent DE Darren Howard (Saints). No financial terms were disclosed. Gary Wichard, the agent for Howard, would not confirm the agreement but said he was working on a deal with the team.

They need an O-Line before anything else.
