Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

I agree with you. Cronell is building a good defense. And I see him going D in the first 3 rounds of the draft. That D is going to be dominating in a couple years. Mark my words.

They are not 'under achieving', they are a bad team. They do not have talent. Cronell is finally bring in SOME talent for that team. They will be good in a couple years.

because they signed ted washington and joe jurevicus? they were a horrible team and have a long way to go.
they have revamped their oline and if winslow can actually play next season, their offense will be much improved. they are going in the right direction, no doubt, but they are still a year or two away from contending with the steelers. i think .500 next season would be considered a good season for the browns.

sorry to inform you, but the browns were brutal last year. they are rebuilding from the ground up. they are going to have a second year qb at the helm. crennel is doing things the right way; purge the team the first year and now start to bring in his own players. but it will take time. im sorry but ted washington does not put you guys in pittsburgh's league.

6-10 is not a bad season like you make it out to be. First year coach, first year coaching staff. Learning what it is like to be in charge. There are growing pains and that's what last year was. Now they have a year under their belts they are much better coaches and the Browns WILL do better than 8-8. Your are talking like the Browns just came off a 3-13 season which they didn't.
It gives the Browns some leeway. They had no shot at Ngata slipping and their biggest hole was at NT (other than Rush LB).
Washington can hold down the fort while the Browns develop a 2nd/3rd round pick. They have a realistic shot at Oshinowo in the early 2nd and that would be an ideal draft choice to groom behind Washington.
I like the move.
As for the draft, after watching you in FA, it's clear you're going to be drafting an OLB since Witherspoon has been signed (and assuming you don't get Arrington).
I think it will be Manny Lawson since AJ Hawk will likely not be there.
