i still say we trade up for adrian peterson. unless he stays for his senior year.

He wont stay for his senior year unless he gets injured most likely. I really doubt we will have anywhere near the trade bait to get from #32 into the top 5. It's not like we are starting this next draft with 2 first round picks like we did this past draft.

I can't believe I just read through a mock draft for 2007.

I really don't see us drafting a RB that high. Either Bell, Dayne, Cobbs, or Bell are going to step up. Really dropping our need for a RB.

At the same time, I don't see our D-line getting the pressure it needs to.

It would be cool to get Lynch, but that would mean that our running game tanked this year, and I don't want to see that happen.

He'd be like a tougher version of Clinton Portis.

I just think hes going to impress so many people this year that he'll sky rocket up the draft board into top 15 territory, hopefully it'll work out where those teams are not in need of a RB or have more pressing needs, and even if he does fall to us wherever we may be, what are the chances Shanny will buck the trend of drafting RB's low?
and then theres the factor that Bell, Dayne, or Cobbs might shine this year, so it would negate this conversation completely.
