Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

I wouldn't expect foxy too fight he seems like a humble peaceful man.
See that's my view of the whole thing. I guess I am more opinionated about it. But I see Foxworth as a guy who worked hard in school, who really used college not only to play ball but to learn as much as he could, someone who is very humble and quiet, and then this happens, I have a hard time believing it. As I said contrast that to a few comments Kircus has made recently, and well I let my imagination run.
Feel free to make as many unfounded and ridiculous assumptions as you'd like.
It provides good entertainment for the rest of the board!
And personal attacks are kind of lame buddy. I mean can you really take something seriously where I label the guys as "Fox and Cox" and "Mr. Kircus"? I thought the way in which I wrote the names would suggest maybe some level of subtle fun while taking jabs. Sorry if it went over you're head. I do forget how easy it is to come to a message board and take words out of context and make assumptions about intent and meaning, much like you think I might make assumptions about a news story!

i know its not a classy thing to do, but i kinda like foxy getting into cox's business and cox showing some fire in general. its an attitude we need.
granted, we don't want our guys fighting, but i dont mind them getting in someones face and someone else flying in to protect a fellow db.
wr's, you usually want what everyone's been praising javon for, some mouth, talking about how good they are, and a little bit of trash talking.
our db's need to have that same attitude only a step higher. we want what bailey brings to the game. a fire, cockiness, and even a hint of arrogance. if foxy and cox are this fired up over practice, how insane are they going to be during an actual game and smellin some blood?
Honestly, I blame them both as people that escalated the situation.
Foxworth and Curome Cox both played great for us last year, and Foxworth has always seemed like a decent guy that could usually keep his cool, but it seems that he didn't in this case.
Foxworth's comment, "It escalated to the point where I had to whoop him", was definitely an irresponsible one, but it was Kircus who grabbed the helmet off of Cox unnecessarily. That was definitely flagrant and something that was uncalled for (No matter how hard he was blocked.)
So they were both to blame. I didn't see the video of Cox's hit, but it looked like what Kircus did was definitely uncalled for.
But, I'm willing to let it slide realizing that it was just some frustration boiling to the surface. I think that they should each have to run some laps, but after that, no harm was done and nobody threw some punches, so we can just forget about it. It's just important that the players realize that it's not ok.
Its good to see a WR with some balls take on these DBs, and he's wearing the old number 87 right? Go over the middle and get hammered like Ed Mac used to do.
This happens more than you think. Nearing the end of camp. Guys, are ready to hit someone other than teammates. Your reading into this a little more than needed. Football is a game of emotions. And, they laughed about it afterwards. Forget about it!
