  • Clinton Portis

On Sirius, NFL Network on The End Zone today they were talking about how the Redskins will probably be entertaining offers for Portis. Given the play of Ladell Betts and Jason Campbell, Portis may be too costly for them to build around thier younger stars.

If this is true, and the Redskins need to make cap room, I say we pull off the same kind of deal that got us Javon. I would love to see Portis back here in Denver!

    What do you guys think?!

He's too costly and I rather go for a Stud RB in a draft then take portis. Mike and Tatum are ok until later on we can get an RB in the draft. Until then our D-line and O-line take priority over a RB. Hopefully Shannnahna will not take Portis and work on the Defense witch needs more youth.
McDaniles Career as a failure of a Head Coach is being fulfilled. Termination of McFailure has happen.

Rejoice Bronco Fans we have taken our team back, but at a heavy cost.

I say no. He'll cost too much to get. Not just money wise, but players and draft picks. We can find younger talent in the draft that can help us at RB. Portis is not a good thing unless he's willing to take a paycut and that the Skins are willing to take him for a second day draft choice.

I'd love it if CP came back, but I dont think it'll happen.

No No No.... that guy worked his way OUT of Denver by wishing to be paid as the TOP RB in the league. .. why would we want him back? I think we are better off looking for another back. People think Tatum is injury prone..... has Portis completed a single season yet??? He's always hurt. Now he's having surgeries. Thats just what we need....an injury prone back that has surgically repaired parts.

          Lets avoid that mistake again.

Because he was the best back in the league when he was here.

However, Bills might be trading McGahee at the end of the year... I think I would like him over Portis, plus we would have a better chance at him.

Although, I'd bet any amount of money that Portis wishes he was a Bronco again, just like most of the fans here.
