Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Ok we lost that means we are going to be drafting in the top 20 picks, we need to fill, DT, another pass rushing DE, and fix the oline, plus another wide reciever with a lot of speed, and a safety and a running back who can break it. Can we fix this in ONE DRAFT or Will we need more than one draft before we are back in serious super bowl contention ?
We also have free agency to fill some of the spots. But I would think one of our major concerns will be backup quarterback. I can't see Jake staying as the backup, and I sure would not want to draft a quarterback, and basically have a 1 year quarterback, and a rookie quarterback only.

With FA's that are available this year it looks like a 2 years draft and FA type thing.
IF we can get Turner from SD our RB situation could be cured for at least 4 years barring injury.
I see LaMarr Woodley as our 1st Rd pick and Joe Staley as our 2nd Rd pick. We can get a big physical safety in Sabby Piscitelli and a DT (maybe Marcus Thomas because of his character problems) in the 3rd. These are players that could help this year and the 2nd draft (2008 NFL draft) we would need a FS like Kenny Phillips from Miami (FL) and if we could get him in the 2nd Rey Maualuga as a future replacement for AL (In line 3 or 4 years), Maualuga would be a 2 or 3 years veteran as that point.

i think we can dam near get everything we need this year via the daft and FA first off we get a monster DT in the first RD. then in the second we take best avible DT,DE Saftey. shanny could also get 2 First RD by moving up with your 2nd rd and 1 of you thirds. but mark my words shanny luved moroney which mean he watch alot of film on Gary russell his teammate. russell would have been a first rd pick but he flunked out of school. this kid is filthy gr8 vision gr8 cutback very very fast. hes got the speed of CP and more power then M.Bell and we cazn get him in the 3rd or 4th .plues he knows the system our pass rusher could be rice. but id rather have freeney. people we are about 3 players away from a championchip
