If we got merriweather i would be very happy. I love how the guy plays, and he hits very hard.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see Troy Smith falling all the way down to the 31st pick.

I see him as a likely 2nd round pick >_>
        RIP Darrent Williams

Troy Smith probably will fall to late first or second. He doesn't have the size and isn't the greatest QB out there.

I just don't see the Raiders drafting Peterson at #1. They just spent all that money on Lamont Jordan. They have more pressing needs at QB, O-line, and potentially WR (if Moss and/or Porter leave) than at RB. I think they'll either draft Brady Quinn or trade down to acquire more picks.

I think we need more help on the D-line than that. DT is our biggest need right now, and needs to be addressed before the 6th round.

First you are missing a ton of players that will go in first, Jake long (top 5 talent) and Sam Baker.

What about Leon hall and hughs?

                  Sidney Rice at WR.

Bush could even slip into first but no way he will drop to the end of 2nd nor merriweather nor ROSS.

                  Wolfe probably will go undrafted.

But it is a great first mock and a good start

we won't draft an o-lineman in the first round no matter what.

ross is an early second round talent, that could jump to the first with a series of good workouts. if he fell to us in the 2nd round we MUST take him.

i love meriweather in the 3rd, even though that kid has more issues than T.O.

i like the way you addressed the RB situation but i'm thinking that will be done in our 2nd third rounder.

you forgot to include quentin moses in your mock, so i think woodley would fall.

so have a look at this:

1- Woodley (DE) or Adam Carricker (DE)

                    2- Aaron Ross (CB)

                    3a- Brandon Meriweather (S)

3b- (any RB Shanahan desires at this point)
                    Darrent Williams 1982-2007

                    27

                    Damien Nash 1982-2007

                    29

                      Browns need offensive line.

Kevin Shaffer was never on the blindside of Vick because Vick is a left-handed QB. He was more like a traditional RT when with the Falcons. With the Browns he has to deal with right handed QB's and is forced to play as a traditional blindside tackle. He is doing a poor job of it. The Browns should draft Joe Thomas and plug him in at LT as that is his position. Then transition Shaffer to RT, a role that would fit his strengths better.
The Browns are gone; I'm not a fan of the Impostors

The real Browns are in Baltimore, see?

I don't agree on an OT for the first round. I think the Broncos should just obtain one from FA or move the current players around. First pick should definately go to a defensive tackle. We have some pretty good DEs, but they just need to be motivated by a good defensive tackle.
