I wouldn't overlook wide receiver at all. Walker is THE guy, but that is all the Broncos can safely bank on. Marshall showed tons of promise, but he never once had a complete game, and still looks as if he's learning the system. Even if Marshall takes a big step forward, the cupboard is bare behind him. Rod Smith looked as if he hit the wall this year, and expecting a player at his age to bounce back any might be unrealistic. I love Rod, but he's now a sub-package guy. We still don't know if Hixon is an NFL talent, Kircus had a nice pre-season but was rather indestinguishable in the regular season. Morgan has rarely been passable at the position... That looks like too many question marks to me, and with as deep a receiver class as this will be, the Broncos should jump at the opportunity to find Walker and Marshall a nice young running mate.

This year's class is going to put last year's WR class to SHAME. Man that was just bad!

Big news. Meachem is a Javon Walker clone, with outstanding size, speed, and athleticism. He has a tendency to let balls get into his body, and has sketchy hands, but Javon Walker faced the exact same criticism coming out of FSU (and even Green Bay). However, if you're wide open as often as Meachem is, hands aren't so big an issue. T.O. has a similar problem but it hasn't stopped him from catching touchdown passes...

Meachem should find his way into round one after he tests well. Why Kiper isn't even giving the guy the time of day is far beyond me, but expect that tune to change in a hurry.

    Robert Meachem DECLARES

    Meachem going pro, sources say

Tennessee receiver Robert Meachem has decided to forgo his final season of eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft, multiple sources within UT’s program have told the News Sentinel.
Meachem could not be reached for comment. The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder had long said that a first round projection from the NFL would be a prerequisite for him to leave school early. Projections have placed Meachem firmly in the first round.
