Plummer to Vikes?

Has anyone looked into the possibilities of Plummer going to the Vikes for one of the Williams' DT's from their DL and maybe B. Johnson. It fits both teams needs. Brad Johnson is a shadow of the NFL QB and is no longer starter quality but would be a good backup. Either of the Williams' would make tremendous strides in solidifying the D-line.

Minnesota would get a serviceable, veteren QB that is a definate step up in that department. They have another stud interior D-lineman waiting in the wings so it shouldn't hurt their D too badly.

It seems like a win-win. What's wrong with this?

Who in their right mind would trade a Pro Bowl tackle for an aging journeyman QB?

Childress already said that they aren't pursuing any of the FA QB's this offseason, so take it for what it's worth.

Kevin would definately be awsome but would involve at minimum a first round pick, but Pat could be had given his salary cap $'s.

Didn't know that Childress wanted to stick with Travarious. Yikes...

they didnt draft tarvaris jackson and start him at the end of the season for no reason. why they give us thier second string AND A PRO BOWL DT?!?!

Minnesota is NOT going to get rid of either of their DT's, especially Kevin, who just signed a nice extension.

The only somewhat decent Viking player that Denver might end up with this offseason is Fred Smoot, who will prolly get cut. He's really sucked in Minnesota, along with poor behavior. I actually think that some retarded and cornerback-hungry team will completely overpay Smoot.

Exactly, someone has some sense. We couldn't pry one of the Williams away for anything. They were the best Dline in the league, only gave one 100 yard rusher all year, why would they trade away a critical part of their D.
